So I was having a conversation with my friend other day and we were talking about the fact that most unsigned artists get exposure on XXL earlier than others as well as later than many. And I was really curious as to what the requirements are to be able to be placed in the voting pool to become eligible to be a XXL Freshman. The funny thing is that a majority of unsigned musicians seem to be doing just fine without the major stamp. So what is your take on it? Do you think you have what it takes? Or is there a list of things you need to check off first.
